We believe that every child has the right to participate in football in a safe, supportive environment, free from harm, abuse, bullying, exploitation, or discrimination.

We are committed to:
• acting in the best interests of children and young people
• maintaining professional boundaries at all times
• encouraging safe and respectful communication
• supporting clubs and coaches in creating safe football environments
• taking safeguarding concerns seriously and responding appropriately
Appropriate Communication
PitchIQ will:
• communicate primarily with club officials, coaches, or parents/guardians
• avoid direct private communication with children wherever possible
• avoid 1-to-1 messaging with minors on social media
Where communication is necessary, it will be:
• transparent
• appropriate
• and, where relevant, copied to a parent/guardian or club official
Use of Images and Video
PitchIQ does not request or require images or video of children to provide basic development reports.
If video clips are submitted voluntarily by a club or parent, PitchIQ expects that:
• appropriate consent has been obtained
• the club or parent has the right to share the content
• clips are shared for development review purposes only
Reporting Concerns
If a safeguarding concern is identified, PitchIQ will:
• encourage the club to follow its safeguarding procedures
• advise that the concern is escalated to the club’s Welfare Officer
• advise escalation to the relevant authorities where necessary
PitchIQ is not a statutory safeguarding body. However, we take concerns seriously and will act responsibly.
